Adrian Rosales
President & CEO
Adrian started in the HVAC trade working for his father as a sheet metal worker and service technician. He implemented his industry experience and founded American Building Automation (ABA) in 1998. Since then, ABA has provided HVAC control systems throughout Central and Southern California. As a proud veteran, Adrian has led the company through a vast amount of projects supporting military facilities at Vandenberg Space Force Base, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Point Magu/Port Hueneme Naval Base, and Naval Postgraduate School. Adrian continues to keep a growth mind-set for ABA as the company continues to expand and adapt to the dynamic markets.
Sarunas Banakas, PE
Vice President & CTO
Sarunas graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Mechatronics. Sarunas joined the team in 2021 as the lead Controls Engineer for project design, bringing his programming and HVAC design knowlege to ABA's controls projects. After getting his Professional Engineers license in HVAC mechanical design, he joined the corporate team and began development of the engineering division of the company, American Building Engineering. Sarunas brings his diverse design experience, having done designs for schools, hospitals, wineries, large commercial, and residential buildings. Systems experience includes hydronic, steam, and VRF. He strives to provide inovative solutions to meet/exceed customer requirements.
